HOSTED EMAIL SERVICE TO BE DISCONTINUED

If you are currently using our Hosted Email Service, then you probably already know that we’ve been having some deliverability issues and that we have decided to discontinue the email service in 2024. We are happy to report that we have found suitable replacements for the email service and have listed your options below.

THIS APPLIES TO YOUR EMAIL SERVICE ONLY

Please be aware, this change only applies to your email service. We will continue to maintain your website for as long as you want.

TWO OPTIONS

We have been exploring the available options for business email services and are now able to recommend the two choices listed below. We have also discussed our plans with several local IT companies and can provide a suitable referral if you don’t currently have your own IT service provider.

EXTENDED DEADLINE

We have also extended our deadline. We understand that moving your emails to a new service provider requires some decisions to be made and that you may not be ready to make the switch right now. That’s why we will continue to support your current email service until June 30, 2024.


Here are your options for the new email service:

OPTION #1

MICROSOFT 365

Microsoft Office 365 for Business
Cost is $8/month per user/mailbox (includes online apps only)
or $17/month per user for the full desktop version.

ActiveSync all your devices in real time
Microsoft 365 for Business subscription is required and
includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

OPTION #2

BUSINESS EMAIL

Business Email by Webnames
Prices start at $3.70 CAD/month for one 10 GB mailbox
or $2.30 CAD/month per user for 5 mailboxes.

ActiveSync all your devices in real time
Compatible with Outlook, Android and iOS
100% hosted in Canada

Here’s how we will proceed:

MICROSOFT 365

We will refer you to a local IT specialist
who will help you setup your Microsoft account.

They will move the contents of your current mailboxes and help you configure the new accounts on your computer and other devices.

BUSINESS EMAIL

We will setup the new mailboxes for you.
You may still need to hire someone to move the contents of your mailboxes and to configure the new accounts on your computer
and other devices.
